Mold Program: Licensing
It is unlawful for any person to
engage, advertise or hold themselves out as a mold assessor, remediation contractor, or abatement worker
unless they have a valid mold license, issued by the Commissioner, for the type of work they will be performing. Individuals who do so may be subject to a civil penalty.
If you have experienced any type of water problem in your home or business you should have a mold inspection/assessment as soon as possible. Mold growth can occur within 48 hours of a water leak or intrusion and health issues can occur soon afterwards.
Don’t risk health problems for your family or employees, call Mold Headquarters if you suspect or see any evidence of mold growth.
If you see any signs of possible mold growth in your home or business,
contact the mold professionals at Mold Headquarters immediately
for a full inspection by a NYS licensed Mold Inspector.
Had mold in the house because of an undiscovered water leak. Called mold headquarters and they were here the next day. We had an assessment plan in another day. The cleanup was completed and we’ve been mold free since. A very professional job all around!
